SNAP! SNAP! Primary students visit to Stables Theatre

SNAP! SNAP!   In May this year a small group of Primary pupils visited the Stables Theatre to attend and take part in the performance of a mini-monster musical!   The musical was based on a book by Colin and Jacqui Hawkins and tells the story of a little girl and the monsters she meets during the night. Exploration to the Rainforest

During the Autumn Term Key Stage 3 have been learning about The Rainforest.  A group of pupils went to visit The Living Rainforest in Newbury.  They became explorers for the day. Caldecotte Xperience for Secondary and Post 16

On Thursday 17th March as part of our Healthy Living Week activities the whole of the Secondary and Post 16 department went to the Caldecotte Xperience to take part in some exciting activities. The activities included: Sailing 9 pupils enjoyed a morning on the water.  We used the specialist access boats to ensure that everyone could take part. KS4 visit to the Zainabiya Islamic Centre, Granby

This term the KS4 pupils have been learning about different religions and their different places of worship as part of their Religious Education ASDAN work. In March, Hazel and Palms classes visited the Zainabiya Islamic centre at Granby in Milton Keynes. When we arrived at the centre, we were met by Shelina and Zohrain,who were our hosts. KS4 Bowling trip

KS4 students recently visited City Limits Bowling Alley to take part in a game of Bowling as part of the work for their ASDAN Module – we were covering the element that states students should visit a sports centre and take part in an activity. June 2011 Residential Visit to The Calvert Trust

Once again 6 students accompanied by a group of staff spent a week in June at The Calvert Trust, Exmoor, Devon. We participated in a whole host of different activities including, climbing, abseiling, crate stacking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, horse riding and tried our hands at bushcraft where we learnt how to make a fire out of wood from the forest and how to light it using a flint. Palms end of term visit to Stockwood Discovery Centre, Luton

For our end of term trip we visited Stockwood Discovery Centre at Luton.  One of the reasons for visiting the museum is that it is accessible to all students and is also self contained; therefore all of our class were able to go, including Mathew and Abraham, who are going up to Post-16 in September. Post 16 outings report

Woburn Safari Park In July a group of Post 16 students visited Woburn Safari Park as part of their Out in the Community Asdan module. They were kindly given tickets by one of the school transport drivers.
