On Wednesday 25th April, a group of Post 16 pupils, together with a group of staff went to Twickenham to watch the British University’s Rugby Finals for men and women. The women’s final was between UWIC (University of Wales Institude Cardiff) and Loughborough, which UWIC came out on top 27-5. The men’s final was UWIC (again) verses UWE Hartpury, which UWE Hartpury won 27-14.
All the pupils and staff got really involved in the matches, with lots of shouting, joining in some of the chants and holding up our cards whenever a try was scored. Our Redway Rugby fans and Barmy Army were: Martin, Jo, Stuart, Amanda, Alex, Sam and ex pupil Daniel.
