Jeans for Genes Day 2017
Once again, both pupils and staff were pleased and eager to support ‘Jeans for Genes’ Day on Friday 22nd September. After all it is the only day of the academic year that staff can wear blue denim – but they have to donate to be able to do so, to this good cause. Which everyone did!
This day supports those who have a genetic disorder, which can be life altering. Grants are awarded to individuals to provide day to day support including nursing and other support services as well as equipment that enhances the quality of life and an individuals well being.
Thank you to everyone for supporting this – we raised a total of £290.66! Goodness knows from where the 66 pence came but as a certain supermarket says ‘Every Little Helps!
