24th February

I know that I always say this, but it was lovely to see all the pupils back in school on Monday and yes they were all pleased to be back to their usual routines – as were the staff! I do hope though that you all had a wonderful half term holiday.

Over the half term holiday various work has been done at school including new flooring laid outside Ladybirds and Dragonflies, the shutters of the serving hatch being serviced, several areas painted to name but a few.

This week we welcomed a new pupil into Butterflies Class and also a new member to the physiotherapy team. They both enjoyed their first week at school and we hope they will both continue to do so.

Transitions Enterprise group have been magnificent this week donating over £160 to charity, from selling the goods they have made. Wonderful stuff! Well done to everyone!

The café reopened on Friday – do come along and enjoy our good food, but please remember to pre order you bacon rolls!

We said goodbye and good luck to our chef Gerald on Friday. We wish him all the very best for the future. Our new chef starts soon, so in the interimin Karen and Asher with assistance from us all will be ensuring that everything runs as smooth as possible at school.

Anyhow everyone – have a good weekend.

Ruth
