World Book Day 2019

Friday 8th March 2019

World Book Day is a registered charity on a mission to give every child and young person a book of their own. It's also a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it's a celebration of reading.

At the Redway we have had a great day. We were delighted to see so many staff and pupils (and even Cope the dog), came in dressed up as their favourite book characters.

We decided to all do something ‘booky’ in our classes today to support World Book Day and there has been lots of reading activities going on. Sensory stories, sharing books with friends, watching our favourite books on the plasma screen, taking books to the great outdoors with Sharon and even some role play! One class also went off-site to Bletchley library to explore and find new books.

Below are some fantastic photos of the pupils and staff across school.
