6th April

The end of the Spring Term has arrived and school closed on Friday until April 23rd for all but Pirates Class who have some significant training on that day.

As expressed previously, it has been more than a busy term but with lots of positive, exciting learning and activities occurring.

We said goodbye to Natasha and Michaela, who are taking up new teaching posts elsewhere and wish them both the very best.

Our assemblies on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning were based around our outside learning activities – thinking about a year in the forest and  what we need to wear for a walk in the woods as well as what we might find should we go in spring.  In addition, we had a class Easter Egg decorating competition – there were some fantastic ones made! Lots of fun was had by all and it was lovely for parents and carers to join us too.

Donna and the Transitions Team had their Easter stall and raffle on Tuesday afternoon which went well – especially the raffle. Thank you to everyone who supported this or who came along on Tuesday.

Teachers have been planning for next term. Healthy Living Week occurs the week of April 29th – we are all looking forward to this .

Over the holiday  some routine maintenance work is occurring in school as well as some deep cleaning. We pride ourselves in keeping our school environment clean, tidy and vibrant, it’s always commented upon by visitors and prospective parents.

Hoping that everyone has a lovely Easter Holiday.

As always,  we will look forward to being back at school and seeing everyone again later this month.
