Happy Bank Holiday Weekend and Half Term Holiday!

I do hope that everyone is having a good weekend and enjoying the bank holiday.

The highlights of this week in school were the Early Years sports morning on Wednesday, where we were once again supported by the DHL team. A fun time was had by all and we were pleased to welcome many parents, carers and grandparents who came along to support us. Team PE supported by class staff did an amazing job – so well done to them.

Friday brought along the annual barbecue at Transitions. It was lovely to see so many parents / carers and family relations attend too. A huge thanks goes to Donna’s Mum and Dad for coming along and sorting the food, as well as to Donna and the Transitions Team for ensuring that all went according to plan – even the Morris dancing which provided everyone with some entertainment. Everyone – students, parents, carers, and staff enjoyed the food and lunchtime very much. A perfect way to end the half term.

Tim has created some lovely outdoor areas for our pupils recently, including an outdoor learning area in Pirates garden as well as continuing to develop an on site allotment for Aston Martin Class. Team Brabham have also been working hard with their outside class area – there are lots of plants growing well.

Over the half term holiday there will be some routine maintenance work completed at school, but the bulk of it will be completed over the main summer holiday.

Have a lovely holiday everyone.
