Hazel are Class of the Week 15th June (Hazel)

This term Hazel class have been focusing on an ASDAN Transition Challenge Literacy module which asks pupils to ‘Show they can listen to a story’. We have enjoyed the humorous stories written by Babette Cole called ‘The Hairy Book’ and ‘The Slimy Book’. We particularly liked the illustrations and some of the pupils were able to spot the rhyming words throughout the story.
We had great fun putting together a box of props to help us all experience the story. The props in The Hairy Story included fun wigs, hairy feet and hands, scratchy and soft hairy blankets and of course a mirror so we could see how funny we looked.
