The Salvation Army Band come to The Redway

On Friday March 14th we had a wonderful musical experience at school. Members of the Salvation Army band came along to play to the whole school. The members of the band introduced themselves and spoke a little about their instruments. The pupils revelled in the wonderful sounds the instruments made and the joyful music they played. The pupils also brought instruments with which they could accompany the band. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the hall – it was full awe and wonder. We hope they will come along and play for us again – perhaps as part of our Christmas celebrations.
