What a busy but fun week we have had! The highlight of which was our Disney themed Summer Concert. We all enjoyed singing and performing to some of our favourite songs from the films of Walt Disney  - the Mayor sang all they way through with gusto and a smile on his face! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us and for your generous donations. Wednesday evening brought along our annual Leavers Ball – always a happy evening but tinged with sadness. Peony are Class of the Week

This term Peony and Orchid's topic has been ‘The Lion King and Africa’. Throughout the topic, we have had the opportunity to take part in daily physical sessions including; music and movement (using music from The Lion King), rebound sessions with team PE and regular access to physio programmes. Residential Visit to The Calvert Trust June 16th to 23rd 2017

Once again a group of 8 students and 8 staff travelled down to The Calvert Trust, in Devon for an exciting week of outdoor activities, challenges and fun. We were there during the hottest days ever in June, which in itself presented us with a challenge of ensuring we all kept as cool as possible, drank a lot of water and also did not get sun burnt. Strep B Awareness café in full force

Last Saturday’s Summer Fayre was amazing - thank you all for coming along, supporting the school and to the staff for giving up their precious time over a weekend. We raised over £2000 – which is fantastic news. As always we enjoyed the music from Kobold as well as the great jokes and comments! All part of the ‘ambience’ of the day. Transitions are Class of the Week 7th July

In Transitions we enjoy a wide range of holistic activities, Carlie is enjoying a massage as part of her yoga session, Carlie loves yoga. Earlier this week Transitions Art group enjoyed a gentle walk to the orchard armed with our sketchbooks and watercolours, Tony and Shakir painted the view they could see which was green trees and a grey sky, beautiful paintings of green and grey. PE Star of the Week is Narayan

Narayan had a brilliant day at the Athletics Event at Stantonbury Stadium. He really enjoyed running around the track and his ability was noted by one of the external coaches. Well done Narayan!
