PE Star of the Week is Narayan

Narayan had a brilliant day at the Athletics Event at Stantonbury Stadium. He really enjoyed running around the track and his ability was noted by one of the external coaches. Well done Narayan!

Sports Day 13th June 2017

Sports Day was a fantastic day for our children, it was quite a busy one for the staff too! Once again we are hugely grateful to our friends at DHL who help make the day the success it is year after year, providing medals, certificates and snacks to the whole school. Our theme this year was based on Formula One racing teams, each class chose a team and used their creative skills to display in our Opening Ceremony. Swimming Gala at Stoke Mandeville Stadium

We were invited to compete in the Pananthlon Swimming Finals at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on 17th May. It gave us the opportunity to put our new skills that we have been learning at Bletchley Leisure Centre to the test. Lewis, Oliver, Ralfs, Dylan, Nile, Alex and Josh were all keen to do us proud and that’s exactly what they did! Healthy Living Week  May 2017 Healthy Living Week has been really successful this year. With a slightly different approach, we visited a range of facilities as well as inviting some coaches in to school (MK Dons, Inclusive Tennis – (Nigel Willard tennis), MK Cheerleading Academy). PE Stars of the Week

Alex, Lewis, Oliver, Ralfs, Josh, Dylan and Nile represented the school for the first time in a swimming gala. The boys all rose to their individual and group challenges, completing 25 metre individual races, team relays and a 'push and glide' competition. They came in third position overall and each received a medal, which they enjoyed displaying for the photograph. Boccia Tournament

On Wednesday 15th March, we took a group of five pupils to a Boccia tournament at The Sir Herbert Leon School in Milton Keynes. The tournament is firstly played on a regional basis with the winners of the tournament going on to compete against other schools across the country. At the tournament, we played against other schools across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Alfie is the PE star of the week for his determination in completing a seat drop to standing on the trampoline. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts, he persevered and managed to complete the tricky move. Well done Alfie!

Our PE pupil of the week is Lewis, he really shone at every activity at the Athletics festival. His enthusiasm was infectious and he willingly attempted every activity asking to have extra turns. He was also brilliant at waiting his turn and allowing his friends to take their go. Well done Lewis!
