Tracy Snook : Senior Teacher

In 2003 I became a teaching assistant in a special needs school and here is where my passion for education began. After working and learning from those around me, and lots of encouragement from teachers and management, I returned to full time education in September 2005 and completed ‘Access to Higher Education’ course and a BA degree in Primary Education with QTS. I have only ever worked in SLD schools. Since qualifying as a teacher I have continued my professional development through personal research/interests as well as completing a Post Grad in SEN and finally achieving my ‘Masters in Severe Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties’ through Birmingham university in December 2019.

I started at The Redway in January 2014 and have worked across all departments and age ranges. In September 2019 I joined the senior leadership team and take the lead on Secondary department, Evidence for Learning and Teacher Induction amongst other things. I can honestly say that I love my job and no day is ever the same.
