Emergency News

Any decision to close the school due to severe weather conditions or any other emergency will be broadcast on the local radio stations – Three Counties, Horizon or Chiltern. Another indication would also be non arrival of school transport.

Should the school close due to an emergency we will keep you up to date via these local radio stations. Please do not telephone them direct or the school.

We thank you for your cooperation and support with this.

There is now a way to find out if the school has to close at short notice with free text and email alerts:

You can now find out if we have to close our school in an emergency by signing up for free text and email alerts on the Milton Keynes Council website. Simply log on to http://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/Closures/Subscribe and enter your email address and mobile phone number to receive the alerts if we have to close.

While we make every effort to keep the school open, there may be occasions when it is not safe for pupils and staff to be at school, for example in extreme weather conditions. When the decision is made to close, we will use the web based system to send the text and email alerts to you. The system will also continue to send information about the closures to local radio stations, Heart 103.3 and BBC Three Counties Radio, who will read out the information on air and display on their websites.

To sign up for the system, log on to http://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/Closures/Subscribe?
